THIS is the shocking image of an anorexic woman designed to jolt the fashion industry.
The photo of Isabelle Caro, 27, has been posted around Milan as the city holds its fashion week.
Miss Caro, who weighs just 4st 12lb has suffered from anorexia since she was 12.
She said: "I've hidden myself for too long. I want to show young people how dangerous this illness is."
The campaign was paid for by Italian clothing company Flash & Partners to publicise a brand for young women called Nolita.
Milanese authorities have banned the appearance of ultra-skinny models on catwalks by forcing models to carry certificates proving they are healthy.
